Thinking About Going International After Graduation? Here’s How to Start
Thinking about going international after you graduate but not sure how to make it happen? You’re not alone. Many seasoned professionals say they wish they had taken the leap right after college. If you missed out on studying abroad, now might be the perfect time to consider going global.
Why You Should Consider It
Traveling for vacation is one thing, but living abroad offers a deeper, more meaningful experience. Immersing yourself in a new culture allows you to learn traditions, norms, and perspectives that differ from those in the U.S. You’ll return with a broader worldview and valuable skills that employers appreciate.
UB’s diverse international student community is a great resource for learning what it’s really like to live and work abroad. And keep in mind: life gets busy. Financial and personal commitments may make extended travel harder later on, so now is a great time to explore.
