Connect-a-Bull is UB’s alumni-student networking platform that makes it easy for UB students to schedule a meeting to get career advice. To find hundreds of alumni industry experts in your field of interest just sign up for Connect-a-Bull and search the community by keyword, industry, major, etc. And when you get into Connect-a-Bull, be sure to join the Arts, Design, Entertainment + Communication Career Community Group.
I did a keyword search in Connect-a-Bull by the words like arts, design, and communications and found lots of interesting alums. Below are just seven that I want to let UB students know about. You can find more. Just do your own keyword search. Once you find them on Connect-a-Bull message them to say you’d like to chat with them. Give them 3 days with time slots in the next 2 weeks that are good for you and ask if any of your days and times work for them. When they respond back with a specific day and time that works, request that meeting time by clicking on Request Meeting and Connect-a-Bull will schedule a virtual meeting for you.
