Check out Handshake links to the eight companies listed below to see a description of the company, their jobs/internships posted, website, and more. To find other companies with job and internship postings in Handshake, click on Jobs and search by filters of: Internship, Paid, with key words like “social media” or “graphic design”. You can complete a separate search by filtering by Industry like:
- Movies, TV & Music
- Advertising, PR & Marketing
- Journalism, Media & Publishing
Remember searching by Industry gives you the type of company, not the type of work you want to do. For, example you may find a graphic design internship at an insurance company. You can search by keywords and create a more detailed search by adding your desired industry.

Pro-tip from Ed Brodka: Instead of just applying to an internship at one of these companies, go to their company LinkedIn page and search for employees on LinkedIn from that company. Send one of them a personalized LinkedIn connection request and try to set up an informational interview with them and ask for advice about getting an internship there. It will make you stand out and give you a chance to demonstrate your professional communication skills and increase your chance of getting an interview.
