Hi! We’re Roadtrip Nation, and for 20 years, we’ve been sending people on road trips in our green RV to expand their ideas of what their careers—and lives—could look like. We want to help people find pathways to fulfilling work, and we’ve created a public television show, written bestselling books, and developed classroom curricula to show it’s possible.

This spring, fueled by the SEMI Foundation, we’re sending three people across the country in our green RV for three weeks…for free! If you’re hoping to pursue a career focused on microelectronics, semiconductors, and microchips—from AI and adaptive manufacturing to biometrics and the blockchain—we’re looking for you! We want to give you a future-focused look at this diverse and exciting field to help you find your purpose and your place. You’ll get to travel the United States and sit down with inspiring professionals breaking new ground in one of the world’s most innovative industries. See how you can help the world of microelectronics progress to even greater heights of technological creativity and ingenuity.

If you’re ready to take an up close and personal look at the microelectronics industry and are open to an adventure on the side, please take a few minutes to fill out the application below.

Application Details:

• All travel expenses, plus a daily stipend, are paid for by Roadtrip Nation.
• Applicants must be available for three weeks of consecutive travel in 2022. This trip is currently scheduled for May 2022, but the timing may shift as we continue to monitor the situation with COVID-19. We’ll work with applicants and communicate about timing as we learn more.
• We want to share your journey with others, so the road trip will be filmed. The resulting documentary may be shown on public television, as well as other relevant video platforms.
• Individuals who are chosen will help plan the trip around their specific interests, areas of study, and career aspirations, so you’ll be working with Roadtrip Nation to research and book interviews with the career role models you’d like to speak with.
