What You Will Do:
This is a seasonal internship with the possibility of being extended. Start date is October 1, 2024, and candidates need to be available for a client activation on February 26 – March 1, 2025, to be considered. The logistics coordinator reports to the Account Manager and works on a dedicated client project. This position requires a highly organized individual to own and manage weekly inventory checks for the client as well as the ability to work in a dynamic event environment. The logistics coordinator will work in many practice areas including: inventory management, event coordination, customer relations and day of event management. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, achieve results and shift focus is paramount.
Core Responsibilities Include:
▪ Inventory Management
o Own and manage weekly inventory checks in Paso Robles
o Highly organized inventory documentation
o Inventory knowledge and communication both internally and externally
▪ Event Coordinator
o Coordinate event inventory logistics, and provide on-site event support
o Manage inventory databases which are critical to event logistics and operations o Onsite support for event activation
o Guest list management
▪ Customer Relations
o Communicate with sponsors and vendors in lead up for the event and onsite
What You’ll Need:
▪ Exceptional interpersonal communication and strong relationship building
▪ Excellent organizational skills; ability to multi-task and pivot quickly
▪ Wine knowledge and experience is helpful, but not necessary
▪ Quick study and ability to absorb instruction while on-the-job training
▪ Microsoft Office skills – Word and Excel
▪ Must be able to lift 40 pounds to chest height and be on your feet for extended periods of time ▪ A valid CA driver’s license with reliable transportation
