A Group Counselor is assigned to oversee and supervise a specific age group at camp. Groups are created based on grade and gender and may include 14-28 campers. Each group is assigned an adult head counselors, 2-3 assistant counselors and 1-2 CITs (counselors in training).
As a Group Counselor you will oversee daily well-being of assigned camp group; Follow provided schedule and escort campers to required activities; Assist campers with two daily swim periods; Set up and clean up during lunch and snack periods; Help campers to restroom or Health Center; Participate in camp activities and dress up for Special Event days; Supervise campers for off-campus trips (3-8 grade) and Collaborate with team by assigning accountability for camp tasks.
Qualifications:
- At least 15 years of age
- Works well with kids
- Enthusiastic personality
- Ability to participate in indoor and outdoor activities
- Organized & Responsible
