UB Environmental Students of Color aims to unite communities of marginalized ethnicity in environmental, life, and earth sciences. We seek to create experiences of joy and love for nature and connect a network of environmental professionals. Our events and meetings will seek to bring a community together through education, the outdoors, and friendship. In order to fulfill our purpose we will create opportunities to communicate with each other and nature through arts and crafts, hiking, sustainability, workshops, guest speakers, and collaborations. Our intention is to support people of color in environmental, life, and earth sciences and to establish a community presence at UB and in the field.
